Main Idea: In refusal refuse to acknowledge God for who he is, our minds become dark and confused
- A good doctor will be furious with destructive medical advice from impostors
Step 1: We distort our understanding of God to our own peril
- This is what blasphemy is
Step 2: We separate ourselves from God when we refuse to come to Him as God
- Intentional unrepentance keeps us from Him
Step 3: In our own flawed wisdom, we give the enemy access to destroy our lives
- This leads to worry and fear
Life Change Challenge: Remove all false views of God and allow Him to replace them with truth
- Take time to get to know him through S.H.A.P.E., prayer, and community
- Allow Him alone to alter your understanding of Him and strip away all filth
- Come to Him on His terms through the work of Jesus
- Allow the Holy Spirit to continually search your heart
